Bellevue’s BellHop Shuttle Service Reaches 250,000 Passenger Milestone

Bellevue’s free electric shuttle service, BellHop, has officially reached a significant milestone: 250,000 passenger rides served. To commemorate this achievement, BellHop surprised its 250,000th passenger with a special gift tote filled with snacks, Bellevue merchandise, and local goodies as a token of appreciation.

Launched in 2023, BellHop has quickly become an integral part of daily life in Bellevue, offering residents, workers, and visitors a free, fully electric, on-demand transportation option throughout downtown and surrounding neighborhoods. The service was created to make local travel easier, reduce short car trips, and support a more connected and sustainable city.

BellHop driver Brandie shared her experience, stating, “BellHop has become part of people’s routines. We have regular riders who I’ve gotten to know over time, and there’s a really welcoming energy on board. It feels personal and community-driven.”

The success of BellHop reflects Bellevue’s commitment to sustainable urban mobility and its dedication to enhancing the quality of life for its community members. As the city continues to grow, services like BellHop play a crucial role in promoting environmentally friendly transportation options and fostering a sense of community among residents.
