Japan Fair 2026
From June 26 to June 28, the Meydenbauer Center will host Japan Fair 2026, a free, two-day festival celebrating Japanese art and culture. Formerly known as “Aki Matsuri,” this event features live performances, cultural workshops, and vendor booths that immerse visitors in the music, dance, and artisanry of Japan. It’s an opportunity for residents and visitors alike to experience the depth of Japanese traditions and their influence within the Bellevue community.
Community Programming Fund
In a move to further support cultural events, the City of Bellevue has allocated $300,000 to 38 organizations through its Community Programming Fund. This initiative aims to bolster small-scale events across various neighborhoods, including music and cultural performances, fitness and dance classes, workshops, and night markets. Such investments highlight the city’s dedication to nurturing a vibrant, inclusive community.
World Cup Celebrations
With the FIFA World Cup being hosted in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, Bellevue is set to partake in the global festivities. The city plans to host soccer-related celebrations from June 11 to July 19, including watch parties and themed activities.
